Boosters
Our Mission
The Broward Wildcats Band Booster Association is an external organization that helps support and supplement the band program at Western High School. The organization is comprised of current and former band students parents, along with various other volunteers to provide the tools and supplies needed to run the band program. The booster raises funds, organizes the chaperones, helps with show materials and props, and assists the band program as needed by the director and students. The association board is voted in annually, and all positions are mandated as required by the State of Florida.

NOTE: State Fees are separate, are NOT part of Fair Share, and will be determined in October. Fees listed below are for comparison purposes only and will not necessarily be the exact amount charged for this season.

Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted in the band room after practices or via snail mail (see below for info) or via the Paypal Purchases link in the side bar

The band banquet will no longer be included in the regular fair share amount. This will be a separate charge at the end of the year, usually $50.00 or less.

If you are financially unable to meet these obligations please contact either Mr. Tracey or David Smith to make other arrangements. Our board is making efforts to start a scholarship fund for students on free or reduced lunch who are unable to pay. We are also offering parents individual fundraising opportunities, such as working at BB&T Center and our car washes, to raise the money to meet Fair Share. We will work with you if you will work with us!!!
